Adapt a River
What better way to celebrate World Clean Up Day than to launch our Adapt a River campaign? We embark on cleaning a section of the Athi River in collaboration with UN Environment Programme and Rotary Club of Syokimau Rotary Club of Athi River and Rotary Club of Stoni Athi .
We intend to undertake a thorough clean up of the river in the coming month including installing litter traps at strategic points in the river to collect plastics and other garbage. These will accumulate for collection and ultimately be recycled.
